Carly is an Oklahoma City native having done many internships within the nonprofit space as an Inasmuch Fellow being placed at The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum and Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. After earning her bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Arkansas, Carly pursued her career in Dallas, TX working in Sales for a large recruiting firm and then was given the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in the event planning and marketing space at a start-up oil & gas supply-chain company. Since joining the OKC Innovation District in 2020, she has enjoyed being back in her home-state and is looking forward to making a lasting impact within Oklahoma City as the Director of Programs & Events with the Innovation District.
